Teaching Thoughts Tuesday-Class Journal

Keeping a journal of your classes is a great way to help you become a better teacher. Soon after your class, sit down and write about the good points, the bad points and anything else that you feel is worth remembering. This journal is for you and your own personal growth, so don’t be afraid to really write your true feelings. Later go back and reevaluate your lesson, feelings, and think about ways to solve any problems that you may have had. Over the weeks, months, and years your class journal will become a great resource of information and a record of where you have been and what you have accomplished. It is also a way to relive the great moments of being a teacher.

If you don’t already keep a journal of your classes, start one today.

See you next Tuesday!
